Vilnius, Lithuania

If you are ever thinking about traveling to a nice city in Europe, fairly cheap and a lot of history and culture, I can recommend Vilnius. Tallinn is the only Baltic city I have ever visited, so Vilnius was new for me. And it is lovely. It is a city with a lot of history and things to see. You could see a lot of young street musicians, a lot of churches, since there are 50 of them.

This was our hotel, Hotel Artis. Very nice in old town and close to the heart of the city.

This is the Cathedral of Vilnius, it had another church inside of it.

These two pictures below were from the smaller church inside the Cathedral. Very beautiful. Some random tourists just came in and started singing there :)

This small square on the ground is  a wish square. You are supposed to stand on int, turn around three times and wish, then your wish will come true! Guess if I did it? :P

Such beautiful houses and streets. They were selling Amber everywhere and in every form!

Over this river was a bridge over to the Republic of Uzupio, a bohemian neighborhood that declared it's independece in 1997.

Some art on the walls.

We went to have dinner in a resort area in a restaurant called BoraBora. Very exotic :D
