BlackBeige #Outfit

I met a friend today in the city, and just as I left my apartment, the rain came. And it came hard! After all after rain comes sunshine, so now we have some sun. 

I was going to wear other shoes to this outfit, but they are leather, so i changed them into these black sandals. I took pictures with the other brown open toe shoes anyway just for you to see. They are suuuper comfy to walk in!

Today I will try to make pizza with sour dough. Let's see how that will turn out!

Sporty Casual #Outfit

My very comfy outfit today, to go with the dull weather outside. I was a bit unsure wether I should wear these shorts outside, since you never know if it is going to be freezing cold. I took a jacket with me to keep me warm, so it wasn't so bad after all to wear shorts on this summer day in July :D

No sun = no tan. I have had to buy some self tanning lotion in order to feel a bit summery and fresh since the sun does not want to come out at all. Or even if the sun is out the air is damn cold! What is up with that! Anyway, the self tanning lotion I use is actually currently a serum from L'oreal. It is very very good. I use a mitt to spread it on my skin because there is nothing more unattractive than fake tan stripes. So now my skin is covered with fake tan and bruises (from the pole classes).

I have been keeping my self busy baking bread. You see I got this sourdough starter from my brother and got completely insane with baking my own bread! I have been making sourdough breads, and I even bought myself a kitchen aid machine so that I could make even more bread :D The bread takes long time to make, but it is oh so good! I might make a separate post about it.

I found a setting in my photo modification program that makes the pictures black and white and you can adjust how black and white you want it. I tried it on these two pictures.

Dupe that

I found the best website for lipstick fanatics. It is a page where they post lipstick dupes. Dupes are cheaper lipsticks that look like a lipstick from a high end brand. They also have an Instagram account.

I have been dreaming of the Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in the shade "Lovely". But when I found the Dupethat website, I realized I had a lipcream from NYX that is almost exact the same shade! As you can see from the picture (borrowed from Dupethat) they are almost exactly the same!

Here I took some pictures of it on my lips. This page is really great if you are in to lipsticks, but don't want to spend too much money on different shades. Besides, you might notice that you already have something you were thinking of buying. They also have dupes of other products.

Patterns

I was so inspired by my previous post "Rachel Green" that I wanted to try this skirt in Zara that looked like something she would wear. I just love the pattern and the material. Very classy and neat. Works well with these black stockings. It is A-lined and a flattering fit. A bit shorter than the regular pencil skirt. 

I am not normally a skirt kind of person, but these kind of skirts are very nice!

Rachel Green

As the 90's trend is going strong I have been noticing outfits from that era. One thing I have especially noticed are the outfits of Rachel Green in Friends. I have now been watching the Friends on Netflix starting from season 1, and I never realised how well the character Rachel Green is dressing! Every episode I am amazed of at least one of her outfits! The outfits are so on trend now. I collected some pictures of her outfits I found online, and created some collages of outfits that I could see her wear. I am definitely inspired by her. Next time you watch the old Friends episodes, have a closer look on her outfits!

Most of her outfits are so simple and classy. Check pattern is also getting a completely new look in my eyes!

And the black stockings! That is something I will be wearing in the fall! :D
