Wau! The weather has been amazing! I would have needed sunnies so badly today. I am sure, as soon as I dig out my sunglasses we won't see any of these sunny days...
Today I had a friend's baby shower, and my outfit was inspired by pocahontas :D Suede dress and a braid in my hair.
This is from saturday afternoon. We have the best nepalese restaurant close to my place.
Today I took some pictures of me wearing the new MAC Hot Gossip lipstick. I really like it. It stayed on all day. On these pics below I am only wearing the lipstick.
Here in the pictures below I'm wearing it with a darker lip liner, MAC in Vino. It gives the lipstick a bit more depth.
Last another new lipstick, the YSL Rouge Pur Couture #25.
I was so happy today when I finished my MAC highlighter, because that meant that I got to return 6 empty makeup cases to MAC and choose one lipstick for free! Yay! I think it i brilliant of MAC to help us be environmentally friendly. I was thinking to get a lip pen at the same time, but they are always out of the best colours...So I just went and got my free lipstick!
Another thing at the MAC desk is that it is always busy. I would have wanted to take my time to choose the lipstick, but it was so crowded. Finally when I got my turn to get my hands on the lipsticks and swatch them I time and time again returned to this shade. Hot gossip.
The colour is a pinkish mauve with blue undertones and a cremesheen finish. It looks a little bit like a luster finish.
I wanted to take a picture of it on my lips, but nobody want's to look at my sweaty face after my dance class...even if it would have pretty lipstick on.
I am so excited about the dance classes I am taking now. I have a fairly long background of dancing as a hobby. Now I have been doing pole dance and street dance with heels (thats what I would call it?). The heels dance is super challenging, but so much fun! I am over excited about attending Yanis Marshall and Danielle Pollanco classes in May, which will be in heels too. I am both scared and so so so excited!!! :D
Last week I had the luxury to see my hairdresser for a hair freshening up. We did some highlights and cut off the uneven lengths. I wanted to go a bit shorter. My hair was already getting so long I was scared to get strangled by it in the night. We also did an olaplex treatment and I bought the home treatment to take with me.
I am happy with the result and the hair feels so fresh and healthy. Good hair equals happy girl!
Lately I have been too busy to update. A lot has been happening and I just haven't had the time to post anything. I think this will change as the days are getting longer and there will be daylight to take outfit pics.
I am going to the hair salon on friday, and I want to share some ideas on what to do. No drastic changes. Maybe slightly shorter. My hair has grown sooo long and the ends are really dry.
I even got photoshop installed on my computer, but I have not had time to learn to use it. There is so much you can do with it so it will take a good time before I master it. But thats my target!
