New fave jeans and #Balmain

Every woman is looking for the perfect jeans at some point during her lifetime, and finding a good pair of jeans is like finally finding something that has been lost for a long time. I needed a pair of blue jeans with a slightly washed look and found the perfect pair from Zara. I have not seen this brand in Zara before, maybe because I don't usually buy jeans from Zara. These jeans feel very jeanslike even tho they are as stretchy as jeggings. They also feel a bit thicker than the average jegging you find in the shop, so hopefully that means they will last for long. This pant is called Zara Trafaluc Body Curve and can be found at the youth department. They are not even that expensive, about 27€. I recommend you try these if you are looking for something similar.

Jokainen nainen etsii jossain vaiheessa elämäänsä täydellisesti istuvia farkkuja. Niitä on vaikea löytää, mutta kun ne löydät käytät niitlä loppuun asti. Tarvitsin siniset farkut lievällä kivipesukuviolla ja löysin ne Zarasta. Nämä ovat jeggingsejä paksumpia, mutta yhtä joustavat. Ne tuntuvat enemmän farkuilta kuin jeggingseiltä. Niitä ei myöskään ole hinnalla pilattu, noin 27€. Farkkujen nimi on Zara Trafaluc Body Curve, ja ne löytyy nuorten osastolta. Suosittelen!

I had read about the new Balmain hair products and was eager to try them. I wanted to try the Salt Spray, and the sales lady said that the Salt Spray is the most popular product from the Balmain hair range. This suited me very well. I was surprised that the products were fairly affordable as well. The Balmain Fashion House is very inspiring and interesting, even tho I would probably never wear any of their clothes. Just the fact that Olivier Rousteing, at only 25 years of age, became the creative director of the fashion house is wonderful.

As soon as I try the Salt Spray I will write about it. At least the smell is very good :)

Luin paljon Balmainin uudesta hiustenhoitotuotteista, ja halusin itsekin kokeilla niitä. Olin eniten kiinnostunut suolasuihkeesta, ja kun kuulin että se on Balmainin hiustenhoitotuotesarjasta suosituin, niin ajattelin että sen on pakko olla hyvä! No se jää nähtäväksi, kunhan ensin pääsen kokeilemaan. Tuoksui ainakin todella hyvälle :)

Balmainin muotitalo on hyvin inspiroiva ja kiinnostava, vaikka en varmaan koskaan tule heidän vaatteitaan käyttämään. Pelkästään se, että Olivier Rousteing palkattiin Balmainin creative directoriksi vain 25-vuotiaana on todella hienoa!

Cat's

I have been pondering what shoes to get for winter when the weather is unbearable and you just want to keep warm. I have never owned a pair of UGGs. I think they look OK, but they seem too "fragile" for this Finnish hard core weather. When my boyfriend gave me these Caterpillar's I knew they would be perfect for winter. These will take any wind, snow or ice that will challenge me this winter. At least I will get a good leg workout every time I wear these since they whey at least one kg each :D I can only imagine jumping over snowpiles in them...

Olen miettinyt mitkä kunnon talvikengät hankkisin täksi talveksi, sellaiset jotka olisivat tarpeaksi lämpimät ja kestävät. En ole koskaan omistanut UGGeja. Mielestäni ne näyttävät ihan kivoilta, mutta tuntuu että ne ovat liian "heikot" suomen talveen. Kun sain poikaystävältäni nämä Caterpillarit, tiesin että ne ovat täydelliset kengät pahimpaan talvi-aikaan. Nämä kestävät kaiken tuulen, tuiskun lumen ja jään jonka joudun tänä talvena kohtaamaan. Tulen ainakin saamaan kunnon jalkatreenin joka kerta kun näitä käytän. Nämä nimittäin painavat ainakin kilon per kenkä :D voin vain kuvitella itseni rämpimässä lumikasoissa nämä jaloissa... 

Outfit: Grey November

As November is grey, I feel these pictures reflect. Soft knits, leather boots and big scarfs are what I prefer at this point. I love these boots! When I found them at Zara I knew I had to have them. They are leather and very comfortable. 

Nämä kuvat ovat yhtä harmaita kuin tämä marraskuu. Haluan pukeutua isoihin neuleisiin, lämpimiin saappaisiin ja muhkeissiin huiveihin. Nämä saappaat ovat ihanat! Kun löysin ne Zarasta tiesin että minun oli pakko saada ne. Ne ovat nahkaa, ja hyvin mukavat jalassa.

Pizza perjantai

First I want to wish all dad's a happy father's day. Especially to my own dad who is the best dad on earth without a doubt <3

Glad farsdag paps!

On Friday we had our blondie's cooking night. We did not cook that much since we made pizza, not from scratch :) Even tho the pizza wasn't made from scratch, it was very delicious.

For desert we made a blueberry-whitechocolate-quark mousse. It was YUM!

For that you need:

Blueberries

2 dl quark

2dl whipping cream

200g white chocolate

Vanilla sugar

Whip the cream fluffy. Melt the white chocolate. Mix the white chocolate and cream. Mix it in to the quark. Add blueberries and sugar to taste.

Perjantaina meillä oli taas blondien kokkikerho. Kokkaamista ei hirveästi ollut, mutta syömistä senkin edestä. Teimme pizzaa ja mustikkavalkosuklaarahkamoussea :)

Mustikkamousse:

Mustikoita

1 rahkapurkki

2 dl vispikermaa

200g valkosuklaata

Vaniljasokeria

Vaahdota kerma. Sulata suklaa. Lisää sulanut valkosuklaa kermaan varovaisesti sekoittaen. Lisää rahka, mustikat ja sokeria maun mukaan.

101 Smoothies: Orange

I wanted to share another lovely smoothie recipe from my smoothie book. This is very simple, just oranges, mango and lime. I used frozen mango pieces which made the smoothie very fresh. This is something I could have on a hot summer day. I just miss summer so much...Christmas is not that bad either, but the time in between christmas and summer...Im not a big fan :D 

Smoothie:

Press the oranges and lime

Peel and dice the mango

Mix!

Halusin jakaa toisen smoothie reseptin smoothiekirjastani. Tämä on todella simppeli, mutta todella hyvä. Käytin tuorean mangon sijasta pakastemangopaloja, jolloin siitä tuli kylmä ja raikas. Tätä voisin juoda kuumalla kesäpäivällä litrakaupalla.

Smoothie:

Purista appelsiinien ja limen mehu

Kuori ja paloittele mango

Sekoita blenderissä 


Today I also got my self two new fragrances. The Les Cascades de Rochas is a strong, fresh and sweet perfume. It is perfect for a night out. The Laura Biagiotti Roma is a classic! I always try to buy my perfumes in big bottles. I have many perfumes and like to mix them in to my own scents :)

Tässä kaksi uusinta tuoksuani. Rochasin parfyymiä mulla ei ole aikaisemmin ollut, mutta ihastuin tähän täysin! Laura Biagiottin Roma on klassikko oli pakko saada. Yritän aina ostaa tuksuni isoissa pulloissa, suurin pulloni taitaa olla 200ml :) Tykkään myös sekoitella useampia tukosuja.
