Outfit: Big Scarf

Yesterday we had dinner at dad's place, and this was my outfit. This weather makes it a bit challenging to figure out what to wear. One second it is hot, then it is raining and then it is cold. During these kind of unstable weather times I usually carry a big scarf with me that is easy to put on and take off. My Esprit scarf is actually a cape, that I usually wear as a scarf.

I am also wearing my new leather boots, I love them!

Eilen kävimme syömässä illallista isäni luona, ja tässä oli asuni. Tämä epävakainen sää tuo omat haasteensa pukeutumiseen. Joka päivä mietin mitä laitan päälle kun ensin on lämmin, sitten sataa ja sitten on kylmä. Näiden sääolosuhteiden takia kannan yleensä mukanani paksua kaulahuivia joka on helppo laittaa päälle lämmittämään, ja helppo ottaa pois kun tulee kuuma. Tämä Espritin huivi on oikeastaan viitta jota käytän mielummin huivina.

New in my shoe stand

I have been looking for boots for fall, so when I found these leather boots online and on sale I was more than happy to buy them. They are from Biancos last season collection, but they are still very trendy. They are comfortable and look nice, but most important they are leather. 

What do you think about my new boots?

Olen etsiskellyt syysbuutseja, joten kun löysin nämä netissä klikkasin ne iloisena kotiin. Ne ovat Biancon viime sesongin mallistoa, mutta todella makeet ja ennen kaikkea nahkaa.

Earrings

Finally one month has passed and I could change the first earrings other ones I actually like. I bought these fair pink flowers and three pairs of basic clear diamond earrings in different sizes. I am still planning on putting one more piercing in the right ear, so now I can do that as well.

Vihdoinkin on mennyt kuukausi siitä kun laitoin toiset reijät kroviini, ja saan vaihtaa treenikorvakorut muihin. Ostin itselleni nämä kauniit haalean pinkit kukkaset sekä kolme perustimanttia eri kokoisina. Aion vielä laittaa oikeanpuoleiseen korvaan yhden reijän nyt kun nämä edelliset ovat parantuneet.

Sushi mushi

Last weekend my girls and me had another of our cooking nights. This time we made sushi from scratch. I usually eat sushi in the summer when it is hot, because it is so cool and fresh when I don't want to eat any hot food. We filled our sushi with tuna, shrimps, salmon, avocado, carrots, cucumber and mayonnaise. We were so hungry (and the making of sushi took so long) we had to go down to the shop to get another package of nori :D And that resulted in food coma! :D It is always nice to cook with these lovely girls <3

Viime viikonloppuna vietimme tyttöjen kanssa blondien kokkausiltaa. Tällä kertaa syvennyimme sushin maagiseen maailmaan ja valmistimme sushit alusta alkaen. Sushi maistuu mielestäni erityisen hyvälle kesällä, kun ei tee mieli mitään kuumaa ruokaa. Tällä kertaa täytettiin sushit tonnikalla, lohella, katkaravuilla, avokadolla, porkkanalla, kurkulla ja majoneesilla. Olimme niin nälkäsiä (ja sushin valmistamiseen meni nin pitkä aika) että kävimme kaupasta hakemassa lisää noria :D Tämä johti sitten perinteiseen ruokakoomaan! :P On aina niin kivaa kokkailla näiden ihanien tyttöjen kanssa <3

BB - black boots

I have been looking for new shoes for fall. I want them in black leather. The boot trend is still going strong, an I really like it. They are very convenient for fall and winter. Here are some of my favourites online.

Olen etsinyt uusia syyskenkiä tälle syksylle. Haluan mustat nahkaiset buutsit. Buutsi-trendi näyttää vielä jatkuvan ja tykkään siitä, sillä buutsit ovat ainakin kestävät ja lämpimät sekä vedenpitävät. Tässä muutama lemppari nettikaupoista (paitsi Zarasta ei voi tilata netin kautta, niitä saa vain ihastella ;)).

This was my lunch today at La Cantine bistro in Munkkiniemi. They have great lunches and salads, I really recommend the place! I also had my nails done today. I went with slightly shorter nails, but kept the natural pink colour.

Tässä on tämän päivän lounaani La Cantine bistrossa Munkassa. Niillä on ihania lounasruokia ja salaatteja, suosittelen! Kävin tänään myös huollattamassa kynteni. Tällä kertaa laitoin lyhyemmät, mutta väri pysyi samana, haaleana pinkkinä.

The battle of the stretchy jeans

I want to make this post about my favourite kind of jeans. 

I have been using Dr Denim Kissy stretch jeans for a very long time, ever since they were cheaper and better quality. Many years ago they used to cost 29,90€ and could only be bought at Carlings. When they got popular the price went up and the quality went down. The current quality is very bad, they get stretched out so fast and they seem to thin out as well. I have been trying to find similar pants that would not cost that much. I don't want to pay too much for something that is bad. Why is it always so that when a product gets popular the quality of it gets bad?? :(

So today I found them! Hopefully. I went in to Gina Tricot, and there they had these super stretchy jeans that looks and feels very similar, if not better, than the Dr Denim Kissy jeans. And they are almost half the prize. Now I just have to see how the quality is in use. The size is a bit smaller than in the Dr Denims. In the Dr Denims I use size S, these from Gina Tricot are size M.

I also bought this white basic long sleeved top from H&M.

Olen käyttänyt Dr Denimin Kissy stretsifarkkuja todella pitkään, jo silloin kun ne olivat halvemmat ja parempilaatuiset. Aikoja sitten ne maksoivat 29,90€ ja niitä sai vain Carlingsista. Samalla kun niistä tuli suositut niin hinta nousi ja laatu laski. Nykyään laatu on todella huono kaikissa väreissä. Ne venyvät tosi nopeasti, menettävät värinsä ja ohenevat. Olen yrittänyt löytää samantyyppisiä housuja pitkään, jotka eivät olisi yhtä kalliita. En nimittäin mielelläni maksa hirveästi laadusta joka ei kestä ollenkaan. Miksi aina käy niin että tuotteiden laatu huononee heti kun niistä tulee suositut?? :(

Tänään oli onnen päiväni, sillä Gina Tricotissa löysin melkein täsmälleen samanlaiset housut noin puolet halvemmalla. Ne ovat hyvin samantuntuiset tai jopa paremmat kuin Dr Denimin Kissyt. Täytyy nyt seurata laatua käytössä. Ainut ero niissä on koko. Gina Tricotin housut on pienemmät. Kissyissä käytän S kokoa, ja näissä Ginan housuissa koko M oli minulle parempi.

Ostin myös tämän valkoisen perus pitkähihaisen paidan H&M:stä.

A quick hello

I got myself a new phone, the Sony Xperia Z2. I love the looks of it and the android system is also my favourite. My old Samsung looks like a toy compared to this one. It has a very good camera that has some nice camera features :D When the camera finds a face it can add these hilarious pictures in it. 

Otin uuden puhelimen käyttöön, Sony Xperia Z2. Tämä on kaunis ja siinä on hyvä kamera, jossa on myös hauskoja toimintoja kuten alla näkee :)

Summer Highlights.

Summer highlights.

I had a lovely summer, and I think it was mostly thank to the weather. Now I am back in business getting ready for a busy autumn and winter.

I visited Sweden.

Kävin Ruotsissa.

I was freezing during midsummer.

Palelin juhannuksena.

I tried to tan at my balcony (it was too hot and uncomfortable).

Yritin ottaa aurinkoa partsilla (oli liian kuuma ja epämukavaa).

I updated my blog and surfed the net.

Päivitin blogia ja surffailin netissä.

I went to the gym a few times before I gave up the gym I would have rather called a sauna.

Kävin salilla muutaman kerran kunnes luovutin saunas...salilla käymisen hetkellisesti. 

We had a bachelorette party. And laughed a lot

Vietimme polttareita. Ja naurettiin paljon.

We drove to Turku.

Ajettiin Turkuun.

I took a selfie in Turku...Im not counting :P

Otin selfien Turussa...vain yhden ;P

I enjoyed mom and her yard...and food.

Nautin äidin pihasta ja seurasta...ja ruoasta.

Rufus suffered from the heat.

I partied in Helsinki nightlife in good company.

We got crazy at a Hotel.

I enjoyed Helsinki from a tourist point of view.

Nautin Helsingistä turistin silmin.

I was at a perfect wedding.

Olin pienissä ihanissa häissä.
