Yesterday I received some things from Pinja she so kindly bought for me at her New York trip. I asked her to bring me these two products, because these are most difficult to find in online shops. Especially the mascara. It is always finnished in every webshop, and I have been wanting to try it for ages. Finally it is mine!

 

 

I have been needing a concealer for a while now, but I have had difficulties choosing what to try. I read some reviews on this NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, and decided I want to try this. I was thinking about trying the NARS foundation as well, but it is difficult to buy a foundation without trying it out first and finding the right colour. The concealer is supposed to be a bit paler than your skin tone, so I think this will fit me good.

I have also gotten some beauty products on the sales lately. The Bodyshop bodybutters are a must. The coconut shower gel was something this coconut lover needed.

 

I have not tried these Lumene Gel effect nail polishes before, but my friend recommended them for me. I also found this OPI nail polish on sale. The shade looks slightly lighter in the bottle, than what it is on the nails....but I like it anyway.

I could not help myself....It was such a bargain! These last forever.

Cosmetics update

This weekend I had the most fun weekend in a long time. We traveled to Tallin with some girls to celebrate my friends birthday. We had spa and treatment reservations, did some shopping and good dining. I will make a separate post about the trip, but now I will show you some cosmetics I grabbed with me from Kaubamaja :)

I needed a blush and was very happy to find out that they have The Balm in Estonia. I bought this blush, and I love it. The colour is very peachy (not as brown as in the picture) and easy to apply. Very good quality.

I have actually been asking around for this powder in all places in Helsinki where they sell MUS. This powder has not yet arrived to any shop in Helsinki, and I was so happy to find it in Tallinn! MUS are renewing their packages, and as you see, the packaging is gorgeous!

And the beauty blender...I have been thinking about buying this, and luckily I did! It is soooooo good! Never has my foundation been so even! I love, love, love it!

Grey Granny

As I told before, I was going to colour my hair. My sister coloured it on Friday, and we decided to go with grey. I actually really like it. It will fit many lip colours, now that I have y lipstick mania going on...

This is how the colour looks like in outside light. Still blonde, but with grey tones.

We also did a pink gel polish to my nails.

I also said I would make a post about my new lip pen from Lumene. I mixed it with my lipstick Myth from MAC. I liked the way it turned out.

#9 Most used palette

Cosmetics challenge number 9 is the most used palette. For me (as you see from the worn out palette) is definitely the Urban Decay NAKED palette. This is the first version of the palette, Urban Decay also has a NAKED 2 palette. It is perfect for making an every day natural make up as well as a night out glamorous make up look. Mostly I use the beige and pinkish shades. Toasted and gunmetal are also very nice shades. The pigment in the eyeshadows i very good, so it lasts for long. It also has a small applicant brush. I ordered it  about two years ago, but can't remember from where. The price is about 39€.

Kosmetiikkahaaste numero yhdeksän on eniten käytetty paletti. Minun eniten käytetty palettini on ehdottomasti tämä Urban Decayn NAKED paletti, ensimmäinen versio. NAKED paletitsta löytyy myös kakkosversio. Se on täydellisen sekä neutraalin arkimeikin tekoon että näyttävän iltameikin tekoon. Tykkään eniten vaaleanpunaisista ja beigeistä sävyistä, mutta tykkään myös Toasted ja Gunmetal sävyistä. Luomivärien pigmentti on ihan omaa luokkaansa, joten tämä paletti kestää pitkäänn. Tämän mukana tuli myös meikkisivellin. Tilasin tämän noin kaksi vuotta sitten, mutta en muista mistä. Hina oli noin 39€.

In these pictures I have used the Hustle and Toasted shadows. And in the older pictures las I have on my eyelids the Gunmetal shadow. Mostly I don't use blue eyeshadow because I have blue eyes, but this one is slightly green/greyish, so I think it goes well with blue eyes. This old make up is found in  this tutorial. 

Näissä kuvissa olen käyttänyt Hustle ja Toasted luomivärejä NAKED paletista. Alla olevissa kuvissa minulla on taas Gunmetal luomiväriä. En yleensä käytä sinisiä luomivärejä koska minulla on siniset silmät. Mutta tämä luomiväri on hieman harmaaseen ja vihreään taittava, joten se sopii mielestäni ihan hyvin sinisiin silmiin. Cosmetics #8

I am continuing the Cosmetics challenge with number 8, work makeup. Mostly during the week I like to keep up a simple look. I use a make up base, foundation, blush, bronzer, eyebrow colour and mascara. Sometimes I like to add a neutral lip colour or just a hint of red lipstick. Sometimes I also use eyeshadow, but always in a neutral colour.

Jatkan kosmetiikkahaastetta numerolla 8, työmeikki. Yleensä käytän arkisin hyvin neutraalia meikkiä. Pohjustus, meikkivoide, aurinkopuuteri, poskipuna, kulmaväri ja ripsari. Joskus tykkään lisätä nuden/neutraalin väristä huulipunaa tai sitten punaista  huulipunaa. Joskus käytän myös luomiväriä, mutta aina neutraalissa väissä.

#5 something red

Number 5 of the cosmetic challenge is something red. I don't usually wear much red lipstick. But sometimes if I feel like I want slightly more colour on my face, I wear this lipstick. It is MAC Pro Longwear lipcream Good To Go. I normally don't apply such a thick layer of it, I just slightly tap it on my lips to give them a natural rosy look. 

Kosmetiikkahaasteen numero 5 on "jotain punaista". En yleensä käytä punaisia huulipunia. Joskus kuitenkin haluan kasvoihin enemmän väriä, ja silloin käytän tätä MAC Pro Longwear lipcream Good To Go huulipunaa. En levitä paksua kerrosta, vaan sormilla tuputan ohuen kerroksen huulille jotta ne saa luonnollisen punaisuuden.

#4 Fave foundation and new lashes

So number 4 of the cosmetics challenge is my favourite foundation. Currently it is Lancome Teint Miracle. I have been using this for a long time and would like to try something new, even though I think this is very very good :) It covers, but is also very light.

Eli numero 4 kosmetiikkahaasteessa on lempi meikkivoide. Olen käyttänyt Lancomen Teint Miraclea todella pitkään, sillä se on sopinut minulle todella hyvin. Haluaisin kutienkin kokeilla jotain uutta.

Yesterday I had my eyelashes done by my sister, who just finished a course for eyelash extensions. It took a long time, but she did a really good job.  I wanted a very natural look, so she put 9 and 10 mm individual lashes with C curve. Can't wait for next time when she's going to be even better! Thanks sis! <3  

Kävin eilen siskoni luonna laittamassa ripsienpidennykset, sillä hän on juuri käynyt ripsienpidennyskurssin. Halusin hyvin luonnollisen lookin, joten laitettiin 9 ja 10 mm pituuksia C-kaarevuudella. Lopputulos on todella hyvä ja siskoni on nyt jo todella taitava! Kiitos rakas siskoni! <3
